Looking forward to visiting Malaysia? Consider visiting Johor. There are many reasons why you should visit Johor. Here are some.
Ask any Singaporean why they would cross the Johor Straits and visit Johor. The first answer you will get is the cheap and delicious food. Although the food is not presented like haute cuisine, it is no doubt delicious and offers great value for money. If you are driving out of central Johor Bahru, don’t be put off by the ‘restorans’ which are just simple corrugated metal shacks which lack air conditioning. Instead, join the locals and discover the variety of flavors offered in Johor.
And here’s another thing. One dish you can’t miss is Johor’s version of laksa. Simply put, Johor’s laksa is made with spaghetti, drenched in a thick sauce. Try it!
